RENEWABLE ENERGY PROGRAM ACCEPTING APPLICATIONS
BISMARCK, N.D. – The North Dakota Industrial Commission has established a special grant round and is currently accepting applications through December 14th for the North Dakota Renewable Energy Program. The program funds projects that involve research and development of renewable energy technologies that have strong growth potential in North Dakota.
The Legislature established the program in 2007 to provide funding for research, development, marketing and education to foster growth of renewable energy including wind, biofuels, biomass, solar, hydroelectric, geothermal, hydrogen, and advanced energy technology.

The North Dakota Industrial Commission, consisting of Gov. Doug Burgum, as chairman, Attorney General Wayne Stenehjem and Agriculture Commissioner Doug Goehring, oversees the Renewable Energy Program.
